​Welcome to Cammas Creations! My name is Nicholas Camma and I am a woodworker in Sewell, NJ. I started my business in 2021 after being inspired by watching other people like Blacktail Studio and Black Forest create these epoxy and live edge tables. They were captivating to watch the process of how they make these tables and turn these slabs of wood with defects and bark inclusions into works of art. What once was wood that wood be used as firewood because of all the voids, have now become even more valuable because of the potential to fill them with epoxy and create something unique. Woodworking was always a goal of mind for later in life, a retirement plan. But after a thought of, “Why Wait?” popped into my head; I started to educate and seek out as much information on how to create tables like this. I have experience from my dad, who is a skilled carpenter in the trade of almost 40 years teach me how to use equipment and tools. I was equipped with not only the knowledge of him and woodshop class in high school but the tools aswell from my dads shop. I just needed to do the work at this point. I created my first epoxy table in early 2021 with a piece of live edge walnut and blue epoxy for my dad. From here, I was eager to learn more and create my own style of crafting these unique tables.
